Uncaged, a collaboration by Hawaii-based artists Mary Babcock, Mark Kadota, Robert Reed and Rex Vlcek, will broadcast live from the UH Gallery on Aug 31, 11-12 noon.

Uncaged is one of 24 international "relay stations" included in time/zones, the cartographic performance project of Loose Combo (, created in celebration of the 100th anniversary of John Cage's birthday. 

“Within a precisely structured duration of thrice eight hours the installation [time/zones]creates frames and spaces for live performances on the spot in Berlin and a variety of live and/or pre-produced contributions from all over the world that are being broadcast within time/zones.” 


Uncaged will be performed live in the UH Gallery and incorporated into the time/zone performance / concert / installation at the Akademie der Künste in Berlin via live-stream.
