Alderbrook Station, Astoria, OR

The Netshed at Alderbrook Station is uniquely situated where the Columbia River meets the Pacific Ocean. In this site specific installation, Mary Babcock and Christopher Curtin used cloth and gillnets to create an environment where we find ourselves under the surface of the water as river currents meet ocean tides.
