MOUNT FUJI IN ART: FREE LECTURE AT THE HONOLULU ACADEMY OF ARTS

In honor of the recent exhibition "Hokusai's Summit: 36 Views of Mount Fuji," John Szostak (Asst. Professor of Japanese Art History) will present a lecture entitled "Mount Fuji in Art," considering the various ways artists inside and outside of Japan have reflected and commented on this iconic mountain. The lecture is free of charge, and made possible by the auspices of the Consulate General of Japan in Honolulu.
