Alumni Steve Coy launches The Detroit Projection Project

Steve Coy [MFA Alum] has launched a new project this fall, The Detroit Projection Project. The DPP brings art out of the private sphere by projecting works of art [national and international] onto public spaces in the city of Detroit, Michigan. The DPP is currently exhibiting large scale video instillations at the Museum of New Art [MoNA] in Dertoit. The exhibition featuring work of the DPP is called "Breeding Ground : New Detroit Sculpture". There was an opening reception on October 3rd and the exhibition will be running until November 21st 2009.
