The top image is faculty member Brad Taylor's site specific work featured in the exhibition “Riding the Wave: 30+ Years Firing the Peters Valley Anagama” at Peters Valley School of Craft (PVSC). The show has garnered much interest, including an article in the New York Times. The photo to illustrate the article shows recent BFA recipient Ryan Shultz tending the wood firing kilns. Ryan served as the Studio Assistant for PVSC this summer, while four other UHM art students attend the school on scholarship - Mattius Braun, Jennifer Chua, Momi Green, and Dustin Miyakawa.
